Since November 2019, he has worked as a radiologist consultant at the Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences in Dehradun. From March until November 2019, he worked as a radiologist consultant at the Thakarey municipal hospital , Mumbai. From January until November he worked as a consultant in radiology at Suburban Diagnostics in Mumbai. In March, he worked as a clinical associate at the Lilavati Hospital and Research Center in Mumbai. He worked as a senior resident at Himalayan Hospital in Dehradun from October 2017, until March 2018. In the year 2013, he also worked as a junior resident at Saifee Hospital, Nanavati Hospital and Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai
He has a poster presentation titled “Osteochondroma at the Ramus of the Mandible: A Rare Case” and a publication titled “Diagnostic Accuracy in Elastosonography in Characterizing Thyroid Nodules.”
Dr. Tushar Jaiprakash Semwal graduated from the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences. In May 2012, at Pravara Rural University, Loni (M.H.) awarded him an MBBS degree and a year of rotating internship. In August 2017, he received his doctor of medicine in interventional radio diagnosis from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Rama University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
He was a fantastic speaker at the IRIA Uttarakhand chapter’s 7th annual conference in March 2015. In March 2016, the 8th annual conference of the IRIA Uttrakhand chapter was held in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.
In March 2016, he gave a poster and a paper presentation in Jim Corbett National Park in Manipal, Uttarakhand.
In March 2017, he gave a talk at the IRIA Uttarakhand chapter’s 9th annual conference in Jollygrant Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
In 2014, he served as the vice president of the Medical Students Association of India (MSAI).
In 2012, he served as a national officer for the Standing Committee on Reproductive Health and AIDS (SCORA).
In 2013, he was named to the standing committee of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations. (IFMSA) In 2013, he represented India in the IFMSA conference in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and in 2012, he represented India at the Asian Medical Student Association in Singapore.
In 2012, he was a key part of the hosting committee for the IFMSA conference, which was held at the Renaissance Convention Center in Mumbai.
In 2013, the Government of Uttarakhand, Indian Medical Association and Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) all awarded him for his efforts during the Uttarakhand floods.
